| The palm trees or turquoise water you might well imagine yourself in some European destination, a real home far from home for sun seekers. The buildings have balustrades, arches, terracotta tiles over verandas, and flat roofs. Inside, all is white and spacious, with antiques. |

| There are just 30, well-appointed, rooms on this small island so, with the help of the friendly and attentive staff, a camaraderie is quickly formed, and with it a memorable holiday. |
RESTAURANT
| One of the highlights of the resort is the food. Lunch is a large and varied buffet washed down with the carafes of ice tea and white wine provided, and rounded off with home-made ice cream. Guests dress up for dinner as it were to do justice to the five excellent courses served at the table. The enjoyment is audible in the chatter and laughter around the dinning room. |
Outside the walls the reef edge is excellent for snorkeling and this is indeed popular, but diving is not taken up by many here despite some fine dive sites close-by. There are a few canoes for general use but no actual water sports center. The activities are more land based. In the middle of the island is one of the few really good tennis courts. Volleyball is also available. So too is pool, table tennis and darts.
Entertainment is similar to that found on other Italian resorts, though perhaps less participatory here. Every evening there is a small cabaret, and after lunch with coffee and before dinner with aperitifs members of staff put on a performance of familiar songs. |
